Made with the Unity game engine in 2 days as a part of the Jeddah Global Game Jam 2023 event with the theme "Roots."

I found it to be an interesting idea to remind people of the nostalgic history of video game development, so I chose to go with the roots and origins of a lot of people's favorite game console, the classic Game Boy. and create a mini emulator that roughly represents it.

I tried to use as much post processing and shaders as possible to simulate the feeling of actually playing one; I'm very happy wIth the result, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.

I was more concerned with creating an enjoyable aesthetic and a calming atmosphere than with the gameplay.
